Weight Room Sponsorship Opportunity We are excited to announce that construction on our new athletic weight room facility has concluded! We are also proud to announce that we have received funding to install a top grade rubberized floor throughout the new facility that will provide durability for many years to come. With the completion of this project, we now have the opportunity for our student-athletes to work-out and train in one of the nicest environments in West Tennessee. Utilizing this facility in the proper manner will help our athletes become bigger, faster, stronger, more self-confident and competitive.
New facilities tend to bring about new and unique opportunities. As most of you are aware, our weight training facilities have had many homes on campus over the years. Currently, our weight room is housed in the basement area of the Dudley Sanders Gymnasium. Most of our weights, racks, benches, etc. are older or were purchased used and in need of updates. It is our desire to transfer very little of the old equipment to the new facility to create a complete environment that is clean, fresh and new.
The cost of this endeavor comes in at an estimated total of $8,000. To help us acheive this goal, we have developed the attached Gleason School Weight Room Sponsorship Program. The different levels of sponsorship will allow you and your family to become a permanent part of Gleason School sports history by donating to the furnishing cost. In return, you will have the opportunity to have your name, family name, recognitions given in honor or memory of someone special, and/or business name forever enshrined in the new facility. Once all donations have been collected, we will have a large display sign professionally made with al the names that will permanently hang in the new weight facility. Funds can be tight during the Christmas season, but the in honor of / in memory options would make terrific Christmas presents for family members whoa re dedicated Gleason Bulldogs both past, presnet and future.
Please review the attached donation level options that are available. The deadline to submit the attached form and donation is Tuesday, January 17th, 2017. If we are so fortunate to exceed our $8,000 goal, all additional funds will go directly to the football program, as they are the team that will get the most use out of the new facility and the program that is the most expensive to operate on an annual basis.
